Intermediate League Player of the Month (Sept/Oct 2023)

The St. John's Intermediate Men's Fastpitch League Would Like To Announce That OF Ethan Murphy (CBC Canadians & Kelly's Pub Molson Bulldogs) Has Been Named The Molson Coors St. John's Intermediate Men's Fastpitch League Player of the Month For September/October 2023.

 

Murphy Turned In A Solid Performance During The 2023 Intermediate League Post-Season, As CBC Canadians Finished 2nd Place With A 4-4 Record.

 

Murphy Appeared In All 8 Of His Teams Playoff Games. He Led The Post-Season In Triples (3), Runs Scored (9), Runs Batted In (10), Hits (12) And Slugging Percentage (.926) And Was Tied For The Lead In Home Runs (2), Games Played (8) And At Bats (27).

 

In Additon To His Performance In The Intermediate League Playoffs, Murphy Was Also A Member Of The Kelly's Pub Molson Bulldogs In The Senior Provincial And Senior Playoffs.

 

Murphy Played 3 Games In The John Gorman Memorial Senior Men's Fastpitch Provincial And Finished With A .400 Batting Average (4-for-10), 5 Runs Scored, 2 Home Runs, 1 Walk, 5 Runs Batted In, 1.000 Fielding Percentage, .455 On-Base Percentage And 1.000 Slugging Percentage. He Led The Bulldogs In Home Runs (2), Hits (4), Runs Batted In (5), Runs Scored (5), Batting Average (.400) And Slugging Percentage (1.000).

 

Murphy Played 2-Games In The Senior Men's Playoffs And Finished With A .143 Batting Average (1-for-7), 1 Run Scored, 1 Home Run And 1 Run Batted In.
